Shiva

Shiva is the Hindu representation of destruction.
Just as important as birth, is death.

I feel we in the western world are so so afraid of destruction,

But this fear is not necessary,
Because death is just a necessary part of life.

In the bathroom stalls at my school,
There are tags from young girls
Asking questions about and sharing their fears of death,

I wish death could be revered
And not feared
What a different would we would live in.
