Brief history lesson

I thought this was L O V E L Y:

The bohemians originated as gypsies entering France around 1840
from places such as Egypt or India.
They came as entertainers or blacksmiths,
nomads escaping social convention to engage in the "new cult of the individual."
The place which the settled,
"Bohemia" is now known as the Czech Republic..
Escapists, idealists.
