Emily Clibourn is a woman of many talents. A former child actor, Clibourn landed roles on the American version of Heartbreak High and the Christopher McDonald film Children on Their Birthdays, and the Chicago native has been penning songs since the tender age of 13. “For The Love” is the latest sultry single off Clibourn’s debut LP Black Velvet, out next month. It’s a somber ballad with jazz and soul influences flowing through its veins.
